What are the rules for conduct at the show?

Common sense applies, but here is a list of rules we have come up with as a starting point...

-Be respectful and courteous to other participants and volunteers.

-Do NOT bring or consume any alchoholic beverages or illegal substances while at the track. If seen with either, you will be asked to leave and/or the authorities will be called.

-Do NOT use excessive speed, squeal tires, or do burnouts at IMS or any event venues.

-Do NOT tamper or disturb any one elses property without the owners consent.

and most importantly

-Have a great time!

If I cannot make the hotel for the Meet and Greet on Thursday, where do I go for my registration at the track?

There will be a registration tent set up across from the 16th St entrance to the track in a parking lot the track owns. We will have a sign for registration there and that is where you will come to get registered to get into the track as a part of the show. Registration will be set up here during the registration times listed on the event schedule. To see the event schedule, click link on left side menu.

If I'm pre-registered for the show, how do I get in?

You will need to show up at one of the registration times to get your packet. Registration will be at the host hotel for the meet 'n Greet from 6-9 pm on Thursday or see above question for other opportunities.

After I pick up my registration, what is my ticket to get inside?

We will have mirror hangers in your registration packet that must be hung from your rearview mirror to get your car into the infield of the track.

If I don't have a car listed above, can I still get a lap of the track?

Only cars registered and attending the event will be allowed a lap of the track.

What if I want to know if my registration was received?

If you want to know if your registration was received, please email info@indycamaro.com and ask!!

What if I have several members of my club attending, can we all park together?

There will be plenty of room at the show to park, but we are not assigning parking spots to attendees. If you would like to park together, we recommend staging outside the track in the parking lot by the registration tent(across from the 16th St entrance to the track) and then all heading into the track together. If everyone does not show up at the same time, or will be arriving late, leave extra room for them in your parking area for them when they get there.

When is the best time to get to see the 5th gen?

The 5th Gen cars will be unveiled on Friday night at the concert. The best time to view them will be Saturday, as they will be on display all day.

Will I be able to sit in and pop the hood on the new 5th Gen?

GM has indicated they will try to make this happen. They realize the public wants to get to inspect these cars. There will be several 5th gens at the event, at least one will be production, but they are not sure which ones may be able to have the hood opened and be sat in. They will do their best to allow this, though.

Will I be able to leave my car at the track and/or my tow rig?

Yes, the track will be secured at night, but no guarantee of the safety of your car or tow rig can be provided. The track will have normal security and it 'should' be safe, but no promises can be made.

What is the cancellation policy?

Email us if you are unable to attend and we will work with you on the refund.

Banquet Questions:

How do I pay for the banquet?

When you send in your registration fee, just include the cost of the banquet tickets you are going to need into the same check as the entry fee!

Can I pay for tickets to the banquet at the event?

Yes and no. The caterer requires a 2 week notice for how many people we will have at the banquet. The club plans on purchasing extra tickets to accomodate a few people that will register the day of the show for the banquet, but those numbers will be very limited. To be sure you get your spot at the banquet, please have your check to us no later than September 4th. Mail the check along with the registration form(even if not showing per the next question in the list) to the address shown on the registration form.

What if I want to attend banquet and don't plan on showing?

If you do not plan on showing a car, still go ahead and send in a registration form and mark it 'Banquet Only' and we'll capture your info for your banquet registration.

What will the cost for children at the Banquet be?

Unfortunately, the caterer does not give any discounts for children. Please contact us on an individual basis and we will work with you as best we can to accomodate your family.
